Bolton Wanderers began life after the international break with defeat, losing 2-1 to Stoke City at the Toughsheet Community Stadium.

The Potters were reduced to ten men just 20 minutes into the game, but Wanderers failed to capitalise on their attacks, with Lamine Cisse giving the visitors the lead just before half-time.

Ben Wilmot would make it two, heading home from a free-kick before Theo Bair scored a last minute consolation in a game where Bolton did not deserve a result.

From the starting XI to the substitutes, here's our full player ratings from Saturday's home defeat.
