Bolton Wanderers have confirmed the signing of Jayden Nelson from MLS side, Austin FC.
The 23-year-old joins on a permanent deal, penning a four-year deal, with the Whites paying a reported fee of £800k in a deal that could rise to well over a million should the winger and club hit certain incentives.
Austin FC also have a sell-on percentage placed in the deal should Nelson move on for a fee in the future.
The winger, who can play on either side of the attack, had only just moved to Austin this summer, but his experience's at the World Cup, where he featured in one game for his nation Canada, only reaffirmed his ambition as a player.
