Steven Schumacher has confirmed the team won't be making any additions before Saturday's Carabao Cup tie with Sheffield Wednesday. Whilst it means the squad is as it is for the game, it does not mean it will be the same in a week's time.

As first reported by Pete O'Rourke, the Wanderers have made an offer for 22-year-old Gent forward, Max Dean. The Bolton News confirmed that there is concrete interest in the English striker but that the Whites will have a dig a little deeper to secure his services.

Who is Max Dean?

22-year-old Dean is someone who Wanderers fans may not be all that familiar with. The Ormskirk-born attacker came through the ranks at Leeds United, before making the move south, to League Two side MK Dons, without making a senior appearance for the club.
