Bolton Wanderers U21's hit seven past Colchester United as a number of first-team players were involved in the Professional Development League game.

Ryan Hardie, Eoin Toal, Samuel Iling-Junior and David Watson all featured for Julian Darby's side in the rout, with all four being named in the starting line-up.

In the behind-closed-doors match up at Lostock it would be Hardie who opened the scoring 20 minutes in - netting his first in the White of Bolton.

Tobias Ritchie and Daeshon Lawrence, two players that have been involved with the first-team over the last 18-months, were next to make it onto the scoresheet, with both players netting twice. Max Lott and Lucas Kirkpatrick would also find the back of the net to round out the emphatic victory.
