After picking up a sublime win over Wolverhampton Wanderers, Bolton Wanderers continued their form in the 0-0 draw with Southampton on Saturday.

On Tuesday, the Whites impressed in all phases of the game and whilst the same could be said at St Mary's, the defence was the standout area for Steven Schumacher's team. With Gavin Bazunu returning to his old stomping ground with confidence, Eoin Toal and Lewis Brunt put on a show, whilst Akin Famewo and the returning Luca Stephenson covered the flanks.

Stephenson, who played his first game since the opening day, plugged a problem area for Bolton in the game.
