Southampton 0-0 Bolton Wanderers: Player Ratings - A defensive stronghold
18.10.26, 13:00 Updated 18.10.26, 14:03
Bolton Wanderers became only the second side to stop Southampton from scoring at home in 2026 as they secured a 0-0 draw at St Mary's.
Fresh off a strong 3-1 win over Wolverhampton Wanderers, Steven Schumacher's team headed further south to stop another promotion chasing side. The Whites would go on to hold off Tonda Eckert's side and have their own chances to win the game.
The Saints had a shout for a penalty, one they should have had, but the referee, much like the home team's efforts on goal, could not find the answer Southampton were after.
From the starting XI to the substitutes, here's our full player ratings from the impressive performance.
