An ever present in Steven Schumacher's Bolton Wanderers, is that the wingers in his team are among the most important players in the team.
Last season, it was Amario Cozier-Duberry who led the line and this season it is Thierry Gale. The wide men create the opportunities, and pull goals out of the bag when it matters most.
For the Whites, it has been business as usual as they look to make the Championship their home once again. Gale has taken on the role as well as anyone could have hoped, netting three goals in his opening eight games, two of which have been match winners.
Like Cozier-Duberry in the promotion winning campaign last year, the winger can do a lot, but he can't do it all on his own.

EditorA lifelong Bolton Wanderers fan, this club is the reason I began my journalism career. Since sitting in the stands as a kid over 20 years ago, I have gone on to work for the likes of the BBC and The Telegraph before everything led me back to here, to the football club I love.
