The bipolar nature of Bolton Wanderers has been on display for sometime. Steven Schumacher's team bounced back from their defeat to Stoke City with an impressive win on the road against Wolverhampton Wanderers, showing just why the inconsistencies might not matter.
There's no secret that in the Championship, easy games do not exist. Every side offers something completely new, with most team harbouring some variation of Premier League quality, with even the two teams that came up with Bolton, holding players that caused Wanderers serious issues last season.
Schumacher has promised that his team will head into every game trying to play the way they want, taking the game to their opposition to prove this is where they belong. The approach, in itself, has rightly been praised by myself more than most. The Whites refusing to shut up shop is one of the most refreshing qualities of this team.

A lifelong Bolton Wanderers fan, this club is the reason I began my journalism career. Since sitting in the stands as a kid over 20 years ago, I have gone on to work for the likes of the BBC and The Telegraph before everything led me back to here, to the football club I love.
