Steven Schumacher may still be desperate to add to his Bolton Wanderers side, he is also cautious that a number of young players need to head elsewhere to continue their development. Two of those include the young defensive duo of Lewis Temple and Sam Inwood, two players that have shown their potential, but are yet to reach the quality of Championship standard.

Temple joined the Whites in January of this year, but is yet to make his senior debut for the club despite making a number of squads. Inwood is a product of the Wanderers academy and has made a handful of first-team appearances, spending last year out on-loan at non-league Aldershot Town. The pair of young defenders are now expected to head out once more, with Fergal Harkin and co keeping a close eye on two of Bolton's biggest prospects.

Matt Bottomley A lifelong Bolton Wanderers fan, this club is the reason I began my journalism career. Since sitting in the stands as a kid over 20 years ago, I have gone on to work for the likes of the BBC and The Telegraph before everything led me back to here, to the football club I love.
