Bolton Wanderers have returned to the Championship for the first time in seven years. Steven Schumacher's side are determined to make the most of their chance in England's second tier, but recruitment is not yet complete.
Whilst Wanderers are competitive, they cannot put the same huge fees up front as other Championship sides can. There will be other incomings, but depth could be a weakness for the Whites this season. With the long season ahead, could Schumacher see it fit to utilise some of his young stars? Or are they not yet ready for first-team action?

Matt Bottomley A lifelong Bolton Wanderers fan, this club is the reason I began my journalism career. Since sitting in the stands as a kid over 20 years ago, I have gone on to work for the likes of the BBC and The Telegraph before everything led me back to here, to the football club I love.
