Bolton Wanderers 2-3 Bristol City: Player Ratings - Performances don't equal points

Bolton Wanderers came back from 1-0 down only to concede two late goals to lose to Bristol City. Goals from Josh Sheehan and Sam Dalby had seen Steven Schumacher's team take the lead, but late injuries and a defensive collapse saw the home side concede twice in the final moments. Here's our full player ratings from the game.

Bolton Wanderers solid comeback resulted in nothing after the Whites gave up two late goals themselves to lose 3-2 to Bristol City.

Dom Ballard gave the away side the lead in the opening moments after Steven Schumacher's side came up with some all too familiar defending. From this point, the Whites fought back, Josh Sheehan coming up with a superb equaliser.

As the second-half began, Wanderers continued in a controlling position culminating in Sam Dalby giving the hosts a well deserved lead.

Bolton stayed on top until Chris Forino hobbled off with what is suspected to be cramp. Sam Bell would level the scores with five minutes to go before Ben Davies too limped off.
