Bolton Wanderers have announced the departure of youngsters Sam Inwood and David Abimbola.

Defender Inwood joins League Two Swindon Town on-loan for the upcoming season, whilst Abimbola has joined National League North side, Hednesford Town on a permanent deal. Both players came through the clubs youth ranks alongside spending periods out on-loan last season.

Inwood has been in the shop window for much of pre-season. The 20-year-old central defender is highly thought of at the club but needs more time on the pitch to continue his development. After spending much of last season with Aldershot Town, it was clear he was ready for the step up, something he has now received with this spell at Swindon Town in League Two.
