Bolton Wanderers may finally be about to add some attacking reinforcements. Steven Schumacher's men have long been in the market for more quality up top, and one player could well be on his way to Lancashire.
According to multiple reports, first published by The Athletic, Wanderers are finalising a deal to sign Austin FC winger, Jayden Nelson.
The 23-year-old is a Canadian international and has played in the MLS consistently over the last two years after a spell in Europe. The deal is set to be a permanent move, with a fee of around £800k already agreed for the player. There is optimism that Nelson could be in place before Saturday's game with Lincoln City, but there are always complications with oversees additions.
