Bolton Wanderers are reportedly interested in signing former Leicester City goalkeeper, Asmir Begovic. The 39-year-old is a free agent and would like one more shot at the Championship, with both the Whites and Sheffield United part of the interested parties.

With a keeper still part of the Wanderers wish list, Darren Witcoop states that Steven Schumacher's team are exploring the idea of offering Begovic a short-term deal. It is not know what guarantees the shot stopper would get, with Schumacher choosing to stand by current number one, Jack Bonham, throughout summer.

The signing would not be a marquee one for the Whites, with far more pressing squad needs, but it would be one with more pro than cons as the club returns to the Championship.
