"I'm sure we will": Star man Gavin Bazunu expects Bolton Wanderers to hit back as Bristol City come to town

Gavin Bazunu may have conceded five goals on Saturday but was still Bolton Wanderers best player on the pitch. The former Southampton goalkeeper expects the side to bounce back, stating it is the mentality this team has had since he walked through the door two months ago.

Bolton Wanderers may have been taught a Championship lesson by Middlesbrough, but if one player could hold his head high it's Gavin Bazunu.

The former Southampton shot stopper may have conceded five goals on the night but also made eight saves, preventing the defeat from being any worse than it could have been.

The 24-year-old was in desperate need of a confidence boost when he came to Bolton at the end of the summer transfer window. His first game against West Ham United showed both the quality that got him the move to St Mary's in the first place, and the mistakes that cost him his place.
