Jack Bonham signs new contract with Bolton Wanderers

Jack Bonham has signed a new contract with Bolton Wanderers.
The 33-year-old shot stopper has put pen to paper on a new one-year deal, with the goalkeeper now contracted to the club until the summer of 2028.
Bonham was a huge part of the play-off run that saw Steven Schumacher's team make it to the Championship last season. Despite losing his first-team place recently, the goalkeeper had no interest in leaving, rather to stay and fight at Wanderers.
"It was a dream ending, really. It was a bit of a whirlwind for me in January and I'm glad it got done. I was delighted to play my part in the play-offs. We got over the line and that game and that following week was probably the highlight of my career. It was just some celebration.
