Match Report: Bolton Wanderers 2-3 Bristol City

Bolton Wanderers had come from behind to lead Bristol City in the dying moments before a defensive collapse saw the Whites concede two late goals to lose 2-3 at home. Josh Sheehan and Sam Dalby had Bolton in control after Dom Ballard's opener before Sam Bell and Scott Twine scored late on to seal three points for the Robins.

Bolton Wanderers could not make their comeback count, collapsing in the final ten minutes to lose 2-3 to Bristol City at the Toughsheet Community Stadium.

Steven Schumacher's side opened with some now-characteristic poor defending as Dom Ballard gave the away side the lead from close range. The goal woke Bolton up, and they were soon level through Josh Sheehan's excellent finish.

Wanderers advantage only grew into the second-half as Sam Dalby gave the hosts the lead, one they looked likely to keep hold off.

Two enforced defensive changes would turn the game as Sam Bell brought the Robins level with five minutes to go. This time it was Michael Skubala's who made their chances count, Scott Twine finishing a counter attack in added time to send the Bristolian's home with all three points.
