Bolton Wanderers secured all three points yesterday, weathering Cardiff City attacks for Thierry Gale to seal the win late on at the Toughsheet Community Stadium.

Whilst the result was everything Wanderers had hoped for, the preparation hit a stumbling block on Friday.

Chris Forino, one of Bolton's best players so far this season, picked up a problem on Thursday, with the physios ruling him out a day later.

Steven Schumacher confirmed that, up to that point, Forino was in the team and expected to start on Saturday.
