Bolton Wanderers outlasted Cardiff City to secure three points at the Toughsheet Community Stadium.
Steven Schumacher's team had to work for the three points as they handled wave after wave of Cardiff attacks. As Bolton struggled to get forward and create, it would be just one chance that was needed, Thierry Gale heading home at the death to secure the victory.
Bolton boss Schumacher acknowledged it wasn't the usual performance fans have seen from his side this season, but that he was happy in how they handled the pressure, and how they found a way to win.
“I think out of the five games that we've just had in the last two weeks that's probably the most pressure we've been under.
