On Friday night, Bolton Wanderers found themselves on the wrong end of promotion chasing Middlesbrough, being well beaten by their opponents at the Toughsheet Community Stadium.
To put thing's simply, there was gulf in quality between the two teams. Boro were able to flex their muscles, with Will Lankshear, Tommy Conway and Amario Cozier-Duberry putting on a show, displaying just why Kim Hellberg's side feel destined for the Premier League.
Steven Schumacher's side tried to play the game their way and take the game to Middlesbrough. The blueprint has allowed Bolton to be in almost every game this season, even if the result hadn't gone their way in the end.

A lifelong Bolton Wanderers fan, this club is the reason I began my journalism career. Since sitting in the stands as a kid over 20 years ago, I have gone on to work for the likes of the BBC and The Telegraph before everything led me back to here, to the football club I love.
