Bolton Wanderers secured their second Championship win of the season, holding off Cardiff City at the Toughsheet Community Stadium.
A performance of a different manner to that of midweek, Wanderers struggled to get a foothold in the game, instead having to hold off wave after wave of Cardiff attacks. The Whites would struggle to create, but one clear-cut chance was all the host's needed in the end, with Thierry Gale securing three points at the death.
An inconsistent 90 minutes, but more importantly, a 90 minutes that ends with a Bolton victory.
