The Overreaction: Charlton Athletic 0-1 Bolton Wanderers - The hard yards for three points

Bolton Wanderers secured a far from pretty 1-0 win on against Charlton Athletic at The Valley. Steven Schumacher's team had to work hard in defence for this one as Sam Dalby pounced on a Charlton mistake to give the Whites a lead they would hang onto for the rest of the game.

Bolton Wanderers returned to winning ways in a different way to their use to, utilising one of their three shots on target to secure a 1-0 victory over Charlton Athletic at The Valley.

It was Sam Dalby who pounced on the Addicks defensive mistake, running 20 yards with the ball before slotting it into the back of the net.

Steven Schumacher's team had been on the back foot at the time of the goal, and they were straight after it. Wanderers would have chances to win the game, but Charlton would have many more as they were wasteful, Bolton lapped up the pressure to secure an important three points.
