Bolton Wanderers were left heartbroken once again, as West Ham United scored late on to snatch three points in the thriller on Tuesday night.
The Whites went toe-to-toe with the Hammers for much of the game, with Ethan Erhahon and Ruben Rodrigues both netting for the hosts. Unfortunately, the Irons quality shone through, with England international, Jarrod Bowen eventually netting the winner to give West Ham their first win in Bolton since 1995.
Whilst Wanderers finished the day without gaining any points, Steven Schumacher was proud of his side, saying much like their defeat to Sheffield United a week ago, the performance deserved more.
