Bolton Wanderers slumped to a third straight Championship defeat on Saturday, losing 4-0 to Millwall.
The Whites return to the second tier started so well, coming out the blocks fast to beat local rivals Preston North End. Whilst the Wanderers have shown promise in their performances since then, things have not gone to plan, with the quality of the Championship being on full display as Bolton have failed to make their spells count.
Against both Preston and Queens Park Rangers, Steven Schumacher's men turned their performances into points, but against Lincoln City and Sheffield United, their efforts ended in vain, coming away with nothing.
